Azubis Go USA

For the fifth time now, the “Joachim Herz Stiftung” has supported 25 apprentices from Bavaria and Hamburg to go to Atlanta, Georgia, for an internship programme. One of them was Max Neumann, who is working as apprentice industrial mechanic with Kathrein. After applying for a scholarship in August 2017 and after successfully passing the selection process, he started his ten-week trip to Atlanta on 17 March 2018. Here is his experience report:

Six Months Intership at Kathrein USA

Andrea Perl is studying mechanical engineering with advanced practical experience at Munich University of Applied Sciences. She is working at Kathrein to do a practical semester and has recently completed a six-month internship at Kathrein USA. Here she describes her impressions:

Which is the right job for me? Recent graduates and junior job seekers flocked to the jobfit! 2017, a career and job fair organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to find an answer to this question. At the Cultural and Congress Centre Rosenheim, more than 100 local and regional companies presented a huge variety of jobs and apprenticeships.

Special honor for 10 former KATHREIN trainees with the state award

On 24 March 2017, Wasserburg’s historic town hall was the setting for the state prize ceremony of the Rosenheim district. The most successful graduates, this year 124 students, from all vocational schools in the district were honoured.
