24 Apprentices start new Phase in Life

News-24 APPRENTICES START NEW PHASE IN LIFE

Well done: 24 Kathrein apprentices have now received their certificates. This means that they have successfully completed their training. There was a lot of recognition and praise at the traditional Apprenticeship Completion Ceremony.

PRAISE FOR THE APPRENTICES

Dirk Kamlah, Group Vice President HR, opened the festive event. He warmly welcomed all 24 apprentices and their trainers. Our CEO Anton Kathrein also took the opportunity to personally congratulate the new graduates on their outstanding performance. He wished them courage, strength and a never-ending thirst for knowledge.

LONG AWAITED CERTIFICATES

After so much praise and recognition, the time had finally come for the apprentices to receive their graduation and work certificates from Anton Kathrein and their trainers. They also got a small trophy with their name and job title engraved on it to remind them of their training at Kathrein.

 “FLASHLIGHT”

After they had received their certificates, the former apprentices were given the opportunity to share their impressions and experiences of the last few years with the others in the so-called “Flashlight”, where they could give a brief feedback on their training.

Sandra

“The apprenticeship was great fun and I got to know a lot of people.”

Miriam

“The company has always supported us during the entire training.”

Then the informal part started. Refreshments and light snacks rounded off the event in a relaxed atmosphere.

THE STORY CONTINUES

To the great delight of the trainers and all those involved, 17 of the graduates will remain with us and continue to work at Kathrein. The remaining seven have decided to go to a college of further education or university.
We congratulate all graduates on their successful qualification and wish them all the best and much success in the future!

BEST CERTIFICATE IN UPPER BAVARIA

One of the 24 apprentices who had completed their apprenticeship was Ludwig Lechert, who was proud to receive a special award: Of all “electronic technician for devices and systems” apprentices in Upper Bavaria this year, he finished with the highest marks. He was honoured at a ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria at the Allianz Arena Munich on 4 October.
