Kathrein at the Arch Summit 2018 in Luxembourg

At the beginning of May, Kathrein participated in an unusual trade fair: At the Arch Summit in Luxembourg, our company was one of the industry partners of “Tomorrow Street”, an innovation centre that opened in September 2017.

Initiated by telecommunications company Vodafone, it intends to give young tech companies the opportunity to expand their international network.

KATHREIN WITH ITS OWN BOOTH

Around 350 start-ups presented themselves at the two-day Arch Summit, eager to spark the established tech companies’ interest for collaboration. As a Vodafone partner, Kathrein was also represented with a stand that was well visited on both days of the event. “We had very interesting and intensive discussions with, amongst others, top managers from Vodafone and with Vodafone customers,” stated Lars Goldstein, Key Account Manager at Kathrein for Vodafone.

After initial talks, some visitors later returned to the Kathrein stand for further information. The trade fair was also a good opportunity to make promising contacts with various start-ups and talk about possible collaborations.

SOLUTIONS FOR THE CONNECTED WORLD

“Our showcased solutions and concepts on the subjects of IoT, active antennas, aDAS and 5G innovations met with a very positive response,” continued Goldstein. An important issue from our company’s point of view was the Kathrein Network Vision 2022, which our CEO Anton Kathrein presented.
