EN 50575, a new European standard for cables and conductors will become effective on 1 July 2017. This standard applies to all cables that are used as construction products in buildings. With this standard, the European Commission ensures comprehensive safety and the prevention of environmental damage in all newly constructed buildings.

All cables sold by Kathrein are guaranteed to be labelled as required and fitted with the CE declaration and fire classification. The CE Declaration of Conformity as well as the Declarations of Performance for all types of coax cables from Kathrein can be downloaded from the Kathrein website.
