5G Americas Welcomes Kathrein to its Board of Governors

5G Americas, the industry trade association and voice of 5G and LTE for the Americas, elected Kathrein to its Board of Governors. Kathrein will join 15 of the wireless industry's leading operators and manufacturers on the Board to work on progressing 5G, and further advancement and innovation for LTE technology, in the Americas.

“Kathrein is a global leader in communication technologies with significant technology solutions in LTE antenna systems and we are pleased to welcome Kathrein as a distinguished member of our Board of Governors,” announced Chris Pearson, President of 5G Americas. “Advanced Antenna Systems will remain among key technologies in our next generation networks, and Kathrein's inclusion at 5G Americas will provide welcomed input towards a connected 5G world.”

5G Americas' Board of Governors members include: América Móvil, AT&T, Cable & Wireless, Cisco, CommScope, Entel, Ericsson, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Intel, Mitel, Nokia, Qualcomm Incorporated, Sprint, T-Mobile US, Inc., Telefónica and now Kathrein.
